How can clothing help other drivers see you more easily?
- A.By wearing all-black clothing from head to toe
- B.By wearing dull gray clothing that blends with the road
- C.By avoiding any reflective material at night
- D.By wearing bright colors and reflective material, especially on your upper body
Correct answer
D. By wearing bright colors and reflective material, especially on your upper body
Why
Bright and reflective clothing makes you more conspicuous to other drivers, especially at intersections and at night. Visibility is a key defense because many drivers who hit motorcyclists report they did not see them.
